In 1986 I was elected to serve as your Judge in County Court at Law No. 4. I am up for re-election in
2010 and ask for your vote so I can continue to serve you. The race is county wide, so if you you live in
Bexar County you can vote for me. As Judge of County Court at Law No. 4, I preside over criminal cases. My goal is to keep you safe.
Before being elected I was a rookie prosecuter with the U.S. Attorney’s Office. I was assigned to the
team of U.S. prosecutors who tried all the cases arising from the assassination of U.S. District Judge
John H. Wood. Later, I was a sole practioner doing civil law and criminal defense. In three judicial polls
I was chosen as one of the best Judges in Bexar County. In 1986 the University of Texas of
San Antonio named me Alumnus of the year. In 1989 San Antonio College named me as Outstanding
Alumnus of the year. I have served on the Executive Committiee of the Judicial Section of the State
Bar of Texas and the Board of Directors of the San Antonio Bar Association.
I am licensed to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals,
the U.S. District Courts in the Western, Southern, Northern and Eastern Districts and the State Bar of
Texas.
Please vote for me me in 2010 so that I can continue to serve. |
